Moversa is a joint venture (JV) created by Sony and NXP in November 2007. Moversa´s contactless technology powers your handset to become your wallet, allowing you to make a mobile payment, check your balance, load a transport ticket, collect loyalty points and do much more. Our technology makes all of this very simple, easy and secure as you can see in our company movie.

We plan, develop, produce and market a secure chip, a Universal Access Module (U-SAM), that incorporates both MIFARE and FeliCaTm operation system and applications, two of the most widely installed contactless smart card technologies in the world.
Our products will also support other contactless operating systems and applications, aiming to create a true universal contactless platform. Moversa´s U-SAM products provide mobile device manufacturers with universal technology to design handsets compatible with different contactless protocols and operating systems deployed in different countries.

This enables service providers such as mobile phone operators, transportation network operators and credit card companies to accelerate the roll out of great new services to mobile phone users.
